I had a lovely stay at the hotel, which offered stunning views of the lake and mountains. The one-bedroom lakeview apartment was spacious, quiet, and equipped with a full kitchen, making it feel like a home away from home. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to assist with our plans. However, it's a bit more of a trek to town than I expected, and while the dining options weren't great, the value for the overall experience was still pretty good.

Rooms
9.0
The one-bedroom lakeview apartment was very spacious and quiet. The bathroom and kitchen were equipped to a high standard, which made our stay very comfortable.
Service
10.0
The staff was courteous and incredibly responsive, even helping me retrieve my luggage from the airport. They provided great recommendations for local attractions.
Location
8.0
The hotel is set in a scenic location with breathtaking views and a nice balcony to enjoy the sights. It's a pleasant 1.4-mile walk to town, so while it’s a bit out of the way, the tranquility is worth it.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were less than ideal. The food needed more timely replenishment and just didn’t meet my expectations given the price.
Facilities
8.0
The amenities were very modern and clean, providing everything we needed during our stay.

The hotel offers a stunning view that was absolutely breathtaking to wake up to every day. The rooms are decent, but access to the dining area can be a bit inconvenient, especially since it requires going through the parking area and up some stairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but we did run into some housekeeping issues. Overall, it's a nice place but could use some improvements in service and accessibility.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were decent with amazing views, though some of the windows faced other apartments.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly, particularly Sam the shuttle driver, but we encountered repeated issues with housekeeping.
Location
7.0
The location is nice, about 1.4 miles from town which is a pleasant walk, but it makes accessing the town center a bit harder despite a shuttle bus.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was a real disappointment and not up to standard for the money paid.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were average but could use some upgrades.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The views of the lake from my room were truly spectacular, and the friendly staff made my stay enjoyable. However, I did find the noise from the traffic a bit disruptive, and the hotel was a little too far from downtown Queenstown for my liking. Overall, it was a decent stay with some pros and cons.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were bright in the mornings and offered a stunning view of the lake, but I had some issues with noise since mine was on the top floor above busy streets.
Service
9.0
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I loved the convenience of the free parking and the shuttle service, which made getting around super easy.
Location
6.0
The location is wonderful with breathtaking views of the lake, but it felt a bit far from the downtown area, which was inconvenient for me.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast overlooking the lake was nice, but I found it to be just okay—we ended up having breakfast in our room most days, which was part of the plan.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were decent, but I didn’t find anything particularly outstanding apart from the lovely view.

The hotel is nicely located on the shore of Lake Wakatipu, with a great view. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. However, I found the rooms to be smaller than expected and not soundproof, which was a bit disappointing. Also, while the dining options were decent, nothing really stood out for me.

Rooms
6.0
I was expecting the rooms to be much more spacious from the photos, but they felt smaller than anticipated. Additionally, they weren't soundproof, so I could hear the people next door. The view was partially obstructed by the car park ramp, which was a letdown.
Service
9.0
The staff were approachable, friendly, and very efficient. They were eager to help with booking activities and provided great information about the area.
Location
8.0
Being right on the shore of Lake Wakatipu was fantastic, and it's just a short ride to town. Although it's about 10 minutes from the central area, it was manageable.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was okay but nothing to shout about. We had breakfast once, which was a typical hotel buffet with a good choice, but we opted for in-room dining thereafter.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were alright, but nothing exceptional stood out to me during my stay.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, which boasts a great location with beautiful lake views and a convenient shuttle service to town. The rooms were comfortable, but I found the layout of the second bedroom a bit awkward. The service was mostly friendly and helpful, though there were a few hiccups. Overall, the breakfast was fantastic, but some areas could use improvement, especially the housekeeping.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were well done up and very comfortable, but the layout was a bit strange, with the second bedroom being part of the living room and sliding doors looking at another unit. The tiny window near the ceiling in the back room was hard to reach.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and helpful. The porter took the time to show us around the room and the concierge helped us book an amazing trip to Milford Sound. However, the service felt a bit underprepared at times.
Location
9.0
The location is excellent; I loved the views of the lake and the quietness, while still being an easy drive to the town center. Plus, it’s just a lovely 40-minute walk through the woods.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast offered a copious array of fruits, breads, cheeses, and made-to-order hot dishes, which was fantastic. However, I found the service to be spotty on the second day.
Facilities

The hotel had a range of great facilities, making it easy to plan various excursions and activities.

6.6/10

The hotel has a beautiful setting and the rooms are generally clean and comfortable. The staff is attentive and friendly, although some could use a little more warmth. The location is picturesque but a bit far from town, and the dining options were limited, which was a letdown. Overall, it’s a decent choice but there’s room for improvement.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were well-appointed and very clean, boasting comfortable beds, but the blind didn't fully close, letting in too much light at night, which made it difficult to sleep.
Service
8.0
The service was generally very attentive, especially the concierges, who were friendly and eager to help.
Location
7.0
The hotel is located about 1.4 miles from town, which is a pleasant walk, but the shuttle service was sometimes overcrowded.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were alright, but the breakfast was only available through room service. I would have preferred a buffet instead.
Facilities
6.0
The overall facilities were decent, but could definitely be improved, especially in terms of dining.

I had a bit of a mixed experience at this hotel. The views of the Remarkable mountains and lake were absolutely stunning, and the rooms were spacious and well-equipped. However, the check-in process was frustrating since our room wasn't ready on time, and the location, while beautiful, was a bit far from town. Overall, it was a great place to relax but not without a few hiccups.

Rooms
9.0
The two-room suite was fantastic, complete with en-suite baths and a large living area offering breathtaking views.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable all around.
Location
7.0
The location had stunning views of the lake, but it's about a 10-minute drive from town, which was a bit inconvenient.
Dining

Breakfast was a standard buffet with good quality options but could have offered more variety.

7.4/10

I had a really nice stay at this hotel! The rooms were comfy with a breathtaking view, although a bit small. The staff was super helpful, especially with planning activities around Queenstown. The location was ideal, close to everything without the noise. However, the dining could use some improvement, especially for breakfast, and the prices felt a bit high after the first day.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were on the smaller side but very comfy, featuring a small sofa and a nice balcony with a gorgeous view. The underfloor heating added a cozy touch, although I did find it tough to enjoy the balcony due to smokers nearby.
Service
10.0
The service was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to assist with organizing activities and were always eager to help with a smile. I felt really taken care of.
Location
9.0
The hotel location is perfect—just off the main road but still very close to restaurants and the lake. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle while still being convenient.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast options were minimal and felt overpriced after the first day, and I think it could really use an upgrade to match the rest of the hotel.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were good, but nothing too luxurious. They could enhance the overall experience with better amenities.

7.6/10

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, though it had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, making my experience comfortable overall. The staff was friendly and helpful, but there were some hiccups with my dining reservations. The location was great, right by the lake with beautiful views, but it was a bit far from the city center. I enjoyed the breakfast, although it could have been hotter when served.

Rooms
8.0
The room was exceptional, spacious with a well-appointed kitchen and a fantastic spa bath. However, the balcony was less enjoyable due to nearby smoking, which made it hard to relax outside.
Service
7.0
The staff was super friendly and they went above and beyond to assist me, even fetching something from the airport. Unfortunately, my dinner bookings were mixed up twice, which was a little frustrating.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in a perfect spot right on Lake Wakatipu with easy access to great walking trails, though it's not very close to the town center, which affects the overall convenience.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast offered a great variety, but my eggs arrived cold, which was somewhat disappointing. Despite this, the overall dining atmosphere was pleasant.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel facilities looked impressive, but I didn't get a chance to fully utilize them during my stay.

7.0/10

The hotel has a stunning view overlooking the lake, which was the highlight of my stay. While the rooms provided some comfort with underfloor heating, I felt they were a bit on the small side and the price was higher than what I'd expect without breakfast included. Also, the noise levels in the hotel could be bothersome at times. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made a big difference in my experience.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were not that big but were clean and comfortable with underfloor heating, which added a nice touch. However, considering the price, I expected a bit more.
Service
10.0
The service was exceptional! From the porter who helped with our bags to the concierge who arranged our trips, everyone was very friendly and eager to assist us.
Location
7.0
The location was fabulous with stunning lake views, but it was further from downtown than I anticipated, which meant I had to rely on taxis pretty frequently.
Dining
5.0
Dining options in the hotel were minimal, and while the breakfast was okay, we found better choices outside the hotel. It would have been nice to see more variety.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, but nothing particularly impressive stood out. I missed some additional amenities.
